Professor of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies participated in the scientific forum of Lanzhou University in the People’s Republic of China
On December 3, Professor M. Iskhakov, professor of the Department of History of Central Asian Peoples and Source Studies of the Department of History and Philosophy of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, made a presentation at the scientific forum of Lanzhou University in the People’s Republic of China on the theme “Ancient cities located along the Great Silk Road and urban culture.”
In addition, it is planned to organize special classes of Professor M. Iskhakov for students of Lanzhou University, with the help of which the professor will provide information on the significance and sequence of development of the ancient cities of our region on the Silk Road of Sapallitepa, Toprak-Kala, Shashtepa, Afrosiab, Varakhsha, Akhsikat, Yerkurgan and others.
