International Conference on Japanese Studies
An international scientific and practical conference titled “Solving Global Problems in the Era of Transformation: Theoretical and Practical Issues of Japanese Studies” was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The conference served as an important platform for discussing current academic issues in the field of Japanese studies, developing international academic cooperation, and exchanging scholarly experience.


During the opening ceremony, the Rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Professor Gulchekhra Riksieva, emphasized the importance of this event in strengthening scientific cooperation.


Within the framework of the plenary session, prominent foreign scholars delivered presentations. Their reports addressed such topics as Japan’s policy trends in accepting foreign nationals, the teaching of the Japanese language abroad, challenges and opportunities in contemporary Japanese studies, as well as traditional Japanese theatrical art — Kabuki.

At the end of the event, discussions were held in various thematic sections where participants exchanged views on pressing issues of Japanese studies, prospects for scientific research, and directions for expanding international cooperation. The conference contributed to further strengthening academic ties in the field of Japanese studies.
