Online conference of young translators
The annual traditional scientific-practical conference of masters of “Comparative Linguistics, Linguistic Translation” and students of “Theory and Practice of Translation” dedicated to the 29th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan,the main conference is held remotely.
The purpose of the conference is the history of translation studies, translation criticism, linguocultural aspects of literary translation, problems of translation of music, prose and poetry, restoration of teaching methods, development of simultaneous translation, translation of Uzbek literature into Oriental languages, as well as to provide an opportunity for students to exchange views on current issues related to the implementation of literary translation from Oriental languages into Uzbek, as well as the achievements in this area.
Lectures of students of the master’s degree in “Comparative Linguistics, Linguistic Translation Studies” and “Theory and Practice of Translation” are collected in the form of scientific articles, reading culture and literary translation skills, topical issues of translating samples of Uzbek literature into Oriental languages and samples of Oriental literature into Uzbek. Among the speakers are also masters of the new master’s degree in “Simultaneous Translation”, which opened in 2019, with articles on the history and development of the field of simultaneous translation.
