Ambassadors of South Asian countries to Uzbekistan will be teaching at TSUOS

In particular, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat will deliver a series of speeches on Indian foreign policy dedicated to the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. These courses cover India’s relations with international organizations such as the UN, the SCO, the UN’s contribution to peace and stability reforms, the country’s development path, the Indian diaspora, historical and cultural ties between India and Uzbekistan, Uzbek -covers topics such as efforts to strengthen India’s strategic partnership. In particular, Manish Prabhat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan, will deliver a series of speeches on Indian foreign policy, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. Courses cover topics such as, India’s relations with international organizations such as the UN and SCO, the UN’s contribution to the reforms of peace and stability, the country’s development path, the Indian diaspora, historical and cultural ties between India and Uzbekistan, the efforts in strengthening the Uzbek-Indian strategic partnership. Manish Prabhat has been working in the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1996, at various times heading the Eurasian division of the ministry, working in the country’s diplomatic missions in the USA, Russia, France, Italy and Armenia. He holds a master’s degree in history from the University of Delhi and has lectured at a number of leading universities in India, as well as at the Sorbonne in Paris and the University of Bicocca in Milan.
In a series of lectures organized by the Embassy of India at TSUOS, six other employees of the Embassy of Shypra Ghosh, Bhargav Mitra, Professor Chandra Shekhar, Nipun Anand, Aditi Walundj, J. Murthy also participate.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Uzbekistan Sayyid Ali Asad Gillani will deliver a speech on Pakistan’s foreign policy. These courses cover topics such as the evolution of geopolitics over the past 500 years, Pakistani foreign policy, and the capabilities of Pakistan and Uzbekistan in modern geopolitics.
Sayyid Ali Asad Gillani began his career at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry in 1996 and has held various positions in East Asia, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Human Resources and Protocol. He has also worked at the Pakistani embassies in China, Japan and Turkey, as well as at the UN Permanent Missions in Geneva.
Sayyid Ali Asad Gillani holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and MIT in the United States, and an MBA from Punjab University in Pakistan. During his career, he gave special lectures at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara and the Beijing University of Language and Culture.
The lectures of the ambassadors of India and Pakistan, which have a deep theoretical and practical content, are of great interest to students of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

For reference: diplomats of the embassies of the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Turkey and the Arab Republic of Egypt started lecturing at TSUOS from the 2020-2021 academic year.
