Employment Cooperation Agreement
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 14, 2025, No. PQ-61, a cooperation agreement was signed between JSC “O‘zmilliybank,” the “Kelajakka qadam” Center, and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. This initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8 – promoting decent work, increasing youth employment, and ensuring inclusive economic growth.
Within the framework of the agreement, JSC “O‘zmilliybank” will provide funding for students’ innovative business ideas, support youth entrepreneurship, and assist in the development of startup initiatives. In addition, open competitions will be organized among both senior and junior students across various fields, with winners being supported in securing employment opportunities.
The agreement also includes the organization of paid internships for students at local industrial enterprises as well as at foreign higher education institutions. This will contribute to the development of practical skills, enhance graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market, and strengthen their professional capacity.
This cooperation initiative not only strengthens the integration between education and employers but also plays an important role in increasing youth employment, fostering an innovative economy, and achieving sustainable economic growth.
