Identifying Strengths in Career Development

The second, practical day of a two-day seminar-training titled “Identifying Strengths in Career Development, Resume Writing, and Skills for Adapting to Company Requirements” was organized for final-year students of the Institute of Foreign Policy and International Economic Relations at TSUOS.

During the seminar, a simulation of a job interview process between an employer and a candidate was conducted, allowing students to test their knowledge and skills in conditions close to a real work environment. The speaker, international HR mediator Yulduzxon Tuychiyeva, identified participants’ strengths and weaknesses and provided practical recommendations for their development. In addition, students’ resumes were analyzed, and individual feedback was given regarding their content and design. At the end of the event, the most active participants were awarded special certificates.

This seminar-training was organized in line with the goals of SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, aiming to prepare students for the labor market, increase their employability, and enhance their professional competitiveness. The event helped participants develop practical skills such as effective communication, self-presentation, and successful interview performance.

As a result, this initiative contributed to expanding young people’s opportunities for decent employment, supporting their professional development, and preparing qualified specialists who contribute to economic growth.
