TSUOS Team in Boysun: Meeting Held with Graduating School Students
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ–135 dated April 26, 2023, an outreach event was organized on May 4, 2025, with the aim of enhancing the tourism potential of Boysun District, which has been assigned to Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), and increasing local youth interest in higher education.
As part of the visit, a TSUOS delegation led by Chori Khusanov, Head of the Department of Tourism, together with talented, active, and socially engaged university students, visited Secondary Schools No. 1, 2, 6, and 47 in Boysun District. During the visit, they held open discussions with graduating students.
During the meeting, Chori Khusanov provided detailed information about the university’s activities, academic programs, student facilities, opportunities for learning foreign languages, and TSUOS’s international partnerships and cooperation initiatives.
The university’s Youth Leader, Komiljon Suyarov, also addressed the participants, highlighting the spiritual and educational events, festivals, competitions, and social projects carried out with active student participation. He further discussed the university’s financial incentive system and the support mechanisms available for students in need of social assistance.
The event was also attended by Bobir Odilov, Associate Professor of the Department of the History of Central Asian Peoples, who introduced students to the “EthnoTravel” project initiated by TSUOS, explaining its objectives, significance, and the new opportunities it creates for young people.
Throughout the event, students actively engaged in discussions, asking questions and receiving comprehensive answers from the university representatives. The open dialogue and friendly atmosphere strengthened students’ confidence in pursuing higher education and inspired them with greater motivation and optimism regarding their future academic and professional development.
