A cultural and musical program was held in cooperation with the Embassy of Indonesia
On May 5, 2026, a cultural and musical program was organized at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies in cooperation with the Embassy of Indonesia in Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Uzbekistan, Professor Dr. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin.
As part of the cultural program, students performed the traditional Indonesian dance “Ratoh Jaroe.” In addition, first- to third-year students presented poetic performances in the Indonesian language titled “Berpantun.”
The main part of the event featured a concert by the Indonesian music group “Ki Ageng Ganjur.” At the end of the program, a flash mob dance involving all participants was organized.
This cultural event contributed to strengthening friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Indonesia, as well as increasing students’ interest in cultural exchange and foreign languages.
