Training Course for Hotel and Service Industry Professionals
On May 23, 2025, a short-term training course for hospitality and service industry professionals was organized in the Rishton district. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8 – enhancing professional skills, creating quality jobs, and improving efficiency in the service sector.
The course titled “Service Standards and Customer Relations” was conducted by the Head of the Tourism Department of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Ch. Khusanov. The main objective of the course was to prepare qualified, customer-oriented specialists who meet modern service industry requirements.
During the training, participants received theoretical and practical knowledge on service culture, international service standards, communication ethics, and customer interaction techniques. Special emphasis was placed on problem-solving skills, understanding customer needs, and managing stressful situations in service delivery.
Around 200 professionals from the hotel and service sector of Rishton district participated in the course, contributing to the improvement of their professional competencies and service quality.
In addition, seminar-trainings addressed effective customer communication, conflict resolution, and the development of ethno-tourism potential. The cultural heritage and tourism opportunities of Rishton were highlighted as important factors for service sector development.
This training course became an important step toward improving regional tourism services, preparing skilled professionals, and contributing to sustainable economic growth.
