The Opening Ceremony of the Uzbekistan–South Korea International Student Fair Took Place
On April 29, 2026, the Uzbekistan – South Korea International Student Fair was organized at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
The fair brought together 11 leading universities from the Republic of Korea, providing students and young participants with detailed information about educational opportunities, scholarship programs, and international academic exchange projects.
A meeting was also held with the participation of Hyun Mi Ju, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, Mr. Lee Sangsu, Director of the Regional Development Department of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, as well as representatives of leading higher education institutions of Korea.
During the event, participants became acquainted with bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, admission requirements and visa procedures, scholarship opportunities, individual consultations, and interactive activities.
The fair provided students with an opportunity to gain broader information about studying in South Korea and prospects for international academic cooperation
