In her address to the students, the Rector encouraged young people to take an active part in the International Youth Congress outlined in the “New Uzbekistan Youth Strategy – 2030” programme, as well as in the nationwide youth festival held under the motto “Youth — the Happy and Golden Period of Life.” She called upon students of Oriental Studies to participate actively at the forefront of these initiatives as organisers, volunteer interpreters, and worthy representatives of the youth of Uzbekistan, showcasing the finest qualities of their generation.

During the meeting, students raised questions on a number of relevant topics of particular interest to young people today, including:

  • The history of international relations and contemporary geopolitical processes;
  • Youth leadership, the development of leadership skills, and finding one’s place in the international arena;
  • Effective approaches to the systematic and comprehensive study of foreign languages;
  • Opportunities for the effective application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in education and future professional activities.

The university administration and experts in relevant fields provided detailed and comprehensive answers to all the students’ questions, drawing on their academic and practical experience. They also offered valuable recommendations to help young people become highly qualified professionals and accomplished diplomats in the future.
