Publication of Uzbek dictionary of Russian terms with simultaneous translation
On January 20, 2020, the Head of the Department of Translation Studies of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Xayrulla Khamidov and the teacher of the department Shakhzoda Hasanova, published “Uzbek explanatory dictionary of Russian terms associated with simultaneous translation” (Nodirabegim Publishing House. – T., 2020. – 184 p.). Doctor of Philological Science, Prof. Abdurahim Mannonov was the editor-in-chief and wrote the preface (Reviewers: Doctor of Philological Science, Prof. Kudratulla Omonov and Candidate of the Philology sciences, associate professor Ergash Ochilov). This dictionary contains Russian terms in the field of simultaneous and consecutive translation with Uzbek alternatives and comments in it. In addition to the terms of clear simultaneous translation, dictionary that includes more than 1000 field terms includes serial translation, as well as other terms related to the field of translation study. The dictionary can be used by undergraduates “Simultaneous Translation” and “Comparative Linguistics, Linguistic Translation”, by students studying the secrets of simultaneous translation in “Theory and Practice of Translation”, “Philology and Language Teaching”.
