TSUOS Tourism Working Group Visits Alisher Nazirov Pottery House Museum
As part of a practical visit to Rishtan District of the Fergana Region, the Tourism Working Group of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited the Alisher Nazirov Pottery House Museum, where participants gained first-hand insight into the rich historical heritage and traditions of the renowned Rishtan pottery school.
During the visit, participants were introduced to the process of creating traditional ceramic products, the distinctive features of Alisher Nazirov’s pottery school, and the significant role of this unique craft in the development of the tourism sector.
The visit helped strengthen students’ understanding of the nation’s cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and tourism potential, while also enabling them to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and enhance their skills in promoting domestic tourism.
