The 10th university council meeting was held at TSUOS
On June 1, 2026, the 10th meeting of the University Council was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. During the meeting, the implementation of the resolutions and decrees of the President and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the decisions and orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry’s Board, was reviewed.
Reports were also presented on the ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and enhance the academic and research capacity of the university’s institutes and faculties. In particular, the activities of the Institute of Foreign Policy and International Economic Relations, the Institute of Oriental Languages and Literature, the Faculty of Oriental Civilization and Philosophy, and the Faculty of Applied Sciences were discussed.
The Council also considered proposals for attracting foreign professors and international students for the 2025/2026 academic year.
At the end of the meeting, the results of the admission examinations for independent researchers for the third quarter of 2026 were reviewed, and relevant decisions were adopted on the issues included in the agenda.
