Meeting with Academician Dilorom Yusupova Held at TSUOS
On September 28, 2026, a meeting was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with Dilorom Yusupova, an Orientalist and scholar specializing in historical sources, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The main purpose of the meeting was to exchange views on research activities in the fields of Oriental studies and source studies, current issues in the study of historical sources, as well as the development of the academic potential of young scholars and researchers.
During the event, particular attention was paid to the in-depth study of historical sources related to the history of Eastern countries, their scholarly analysis, and the application of modern research approaches in academic work.
The participants also had the opportunity to learn about Dilorom Yusupova’s extensive academic and pedagogical experience, her contribution to the development of Oriental studies and source studies, and her scholarly approaches to the study of historical sources.
During the meeting, participants asked questions of interest and received valuable recommendations on academic research and research methodology.
Such academic meetings play an important role in broadening the scholarly horizons of students and young researchers, increasing their interest in Oriental studies, and encouraging them to engage in academic research.
