TSUOS Reviews the Performance of Higher Schools and Departments for the 2025/2026 Academic Year and Their Readiness for the New Academic Year
The Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) conducted a comprehensive review of the performance of its Higher Schools and academic departments under the leadership of the University Rector, Professor Gulchehra Rixsiyeva. The review was carried out to evaluate the outcomes of the 2025/2026 academic year and assess preparations for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The meetings were attended by institute directors, faculty deans, heads of Higher Schools, and department chairs, who presented reports on the work accomplished during the previous academic year and provided updates on preparations for the upcoming academic year.
During the review, the commission thoroughly examined the implementation of faculty members’ individual work plans for the 2025/2026 academic year, evaluations prepared by the heads of Higher Schools and departments, KPI results generated through the APS platform, the teaching workload and its distribution for the 2026/2027 academic year, course syllabi, completed and planned internationalization initiatives, as well as proposals for improving the organizational structure of the Higher Schools and departments.
Based on the review, the commission analyzed the achievements and identified areas requiring further improvement. Relevant recommendations and action points were outlined to enhance the quality of education, strengthen research activities and international cooperation, improve the performance of academic staff, and ensure effective preparation for the 2026/2027 academic year.
