Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Organized Professional Development Courses for Tourism and Service Industry Personnel in Chust and Yangikurgan Districts

From June 27 to 30 of this year, Ch. Khusanov, Head of the Department of Tourism at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, conducted short-term professional development courses and seminar-training sessions for employees of tourism and service enterprises operating in the Chust and Yangikurgan districts.

The primary objective of these training programs was to enhance the professional competencies of specialists working in the tourism and service sectors, improve service quality, and increase the tourism attractiveness of the regions.

During the seminars and training sessions, participants received both theoretical and practical knowledge on topics including “Factors and Mechanisms for Developing the Professional Image of Service Industry Employees,” “Methods for Improving Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction,” “Online Promotion, Marketing, and Customer Relations in Tourism,” “Developing Hospitality Services Based on Local Cultural Heritage,” and “Fundamentals of Tour Guiding and Customer Service Skills.”

The training sessions were conducted using interactive teaching methods, enabling participants to actively exchange experiences and engage in discussions. Upon completion of the seminars and training courses, participants were ceremonially awarded special certificates issued by Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

These professional development courses play an important role in further improving the quality of tourism and service activities in the regions, strengthening the capacity of qualified personnel, and contributing to the development of local tourism infrastructure.
