TDSHU Representative Participates in Prestigious International Forum Held in China
From September 17 to 19, 2026, the “Important Bridgehead for the Country’s Opening to the North” Think Tank Forum was held in Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China.
On September 18, an international high-level forum was held in Hohhot under the auspices of the People’s Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Inner Mongolia Academy of Social Sciences.
During the forum, a wide range of important issues were discussed, including the establishment of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone, institutional openness, and further strengthening of regional cooperation.
The prestigious international event brought together more than 100 leaders, distinguished guests, and expert scholars from Russia, Mongolia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and a number of other countries, as well as representatives of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, leading higher education institutions, and think tanks.
It is noteworthy that Professor S.A. Nasirova, Director of the Confucius Institute at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, also actively participated in the international forum, representing the university with her presentations and proposals.
Participation in such international platforms serves as an important step toward expanding the university’s scientific and academic ties, developing cooperation with foreign think tanks, and facilitating mutual exchange of experience.
