Higher Education Cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States Discussed
On July 9, an expanded meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan M. Azimov was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting focused on the implementation of higher education initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the summits of the Organization of Turkic States, the activities carried out during Uzbekistan’s chairmanship of TURKUNIB, and the upcoming priorities within the framework of the Orkhun Exchange Program.
The leadership of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies also participated in the meeting. In particular, the Rector of the University, G. Rikhsiyeva, presented a number of practical proposals and initiatives aimed at further strengthening cooperation in higher education within the Organization of Turkic States and enhancing the implementation of the Orkhun Exchange Program.
