Public Diplomacy and Youth
Members of the “Young Orientalist Diplomats” Club, led by Suhrob Bo‘ronov, Head of the Department of International Relations and Doctor of Political Sciences, visited the SCO Public Diplomacy Center.
On April 30 of this year, members of the “Young Orientalist Diplomats” Club under the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited the SCO Public Diplomacy Center.


The main purpose of the visit was to further enhance young people’s knowledge and skills in the fields of international relations, diplomacy, and public diplomacy, as well as to familiarize them with initiatives being implemented within the framework of the SCO.
During the meeting, the Director of the Center, Q. Sobirov, provided detailed information to the youth about public diplomacy, the main areas of the Center’s activities, ongoing projects, and initiatives within the framework of international cooperation. He also particularly emphasized the importance of improving young people’s knowledge and skills in the field of international relations and diplomacy.
S. Bo‘ronov, Head of the Department of International Relations, paid special attention to the development of active cooperation between the “Young Orientalist Diplomats” Club and the “People’s Diplomats” Club under the SCO Public Diplomacy Center, the development of future plans in research and practice, and the organization of a series of events related to SCO activities.


In addition, members of the “Young Orientalist Diplomats” Club delivered a presentation about the club’s activities, its main goals and objectives, ongoing projects, and initiatives aimed at increasing student participation.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that such events play an important role in ensuring the active participation of youth in the international arena, developing their intellectual potential, and strengthening public diplomacy.
