Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat visited TSUOS for the second time
Today, January 19, 2021, the International Indian Language Day was celebrated at the Mahatma Gandhi Center for Indian Studies at the university in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of India in Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat, Director of the Indian Cultural Center named after Lal Bahadur Shastri Chandra Shekhar, professors and students of Indian studies of TSUOS. Anil Sharma, Deputy Director of the Central Indian Language Institute India, also attended the event online. The meeting was opened by the rector of the university G.Sh.Rixsiyeva, who spoke about the monograph “Indian literature” published under the auspices of the embassy, authored by Indian scholars U.Muhibova and T.Khojayeva.
Also, stage performances by university students made the guests even more excited.
