The Department of Turkish Philology of Tashkent State Medical University in cooperation with Gazi University held an international seminar on “Uzbek-Turkish young researchers.”

On May 17, 2021, the Department of Turkish Philology of Tashkent State Medical University in cooperation with Gazi University held an international seminar on “Uzbek-Turkish young researchers.”

The seminar was attended by the leadership and professors of Gazi University. Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Gulchehra Rixsiyeva commented on the cooperation between our universities, in particular, the essence of the event: “On November 7, 2019, cooperation was established with TDSHU and Gazi University. Since then, the scientists of the university have presented at a number of conferences of TDSHU. In the 1st semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, Fatma Achik, a professor at Gazi University, volunteered to teach students the subject of “Basic Language Phonetics”. “Today, the first international seminar on” Uzbek-Turkish young researchers “in cooperation with the Department of Turkish Philology and Gazi University will play an important role in the development of our cooperation,” he said.

The event was attended by two doctoral students from Gazi University:

1. Malika Erdir. Topic: Teaching C1 level Turkish grammar using the concept map technique.

2. Semih Alper Dundar. Topic: The use of literary texts based on intercultural approach in teaching Turkish to international students: C1 level.

Three young researchers of the Department of Turkish Philology of Tashkent State Medical University also took part in the event:

1. Mehriniso Kayumova. Topic: Common features of Khaldun Taner and Uzbek drama.

2. Nuriddin Altinboyev. Topic: The concept of family in Turkish articles and its lingvoculturological study.

3. Sadaf Shabanova. Topic: The expression of the human image in Turkish phrases with the components “hand” and “foot”.

The event ended with a Q&A session.
