The 16th International Scientific Conference was held at TSUOS

On March 17, 2025 the 16th International Scientific-Practical Conference was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) under the theme:
“Rising Sun Studies: Theoretical and Practical Approaches in Japanese Studies to Solving Global Challenges in the Era of Change”.
Organized by TSUOS and the University of Tsukuba (Japan), this conference was particularly significant as it was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of cooperation between these two higher education institutions.
The international conference brought together 25 leading scholars and researchers from 10 universities in Uzbekistan, Japan, and other countries.
During the conference, participants discussed issues related to linguistics, culture, history, politics, translation studies, and literary studies of Uzbekistan and Japan, as well as innovative methods for learning foreign languages.
The main objective of the international conference was to enhance scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, discuss pressing issues in Japanese studies, exchange experiences in the fields of innovation and education, propose new scientific approaches to interdisciplinary research, and develop practical recommendations for new international scientific projects.
At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.
