Employment policy
Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies has a policy against forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor. Measures against forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor, seminars, and training are constantly held at the university.
The union organizer of the primary organization, within the scope of the powers granted to the union committee, shall act in the interests of the union members of the university in production, labor, household, recreation, and other issues and protect them from forced labor.
The organizer of the trade union works individually with the members of the trade union, involves each of them in actively participating in public affairs, takes care of improving the working and living conditions of the employees, strengthening their health, and organizing their rest.
The university trade union provides comprehensive support to university professors and employees, protects them from all forms of modern slavery, and protects them from forced labor. In order to restore the health of professors and teachers and workers of the university, the trade union provides them with tickets to sanatoriums, rest houses, sanatorium-preventive and children’s health camps at the expense of the funds of the union and the social insurance budget.
Also, the university, together with major international organizations, organizes seminars and training, events and competitions on avoiding forced labor, modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labor.
