High school of translation, linguistics and international journalism

In the 2024-2025 academic year, 21 professors are working at the Higher School of South Asian Languages and Literature. 2 of them are doctors of science (1 professor, 1 associate professor), 2 candidates of science (1 professor, 1 associate professor), 6 PhDs (1 associate professor, 5 senior lecturers), 5 senior teachers. teacher, 4 teachers, 2 trainee teachers. The scientific potential of the higher school is 70%. In the higher school, 60230100 – Philology and language teaching (on oriental languages) and 70230101 – Linguistics (on oriental languages), 70230104 – Literary studies (on oriental languages and research directions) 70230102 – Classical philology (on oriental by languages) there are specialties. Hindi, Urdu, Indonesian, Malay, and Vietnamese languages are taught in the high school. Students of the higher school are winners of a number of international and famous state scholarships. In particular, he won the state award named after Zulfia and Navoi state scholarships. At the same time, he continues to study abroad, having received educational grants from India and Indonesia for studying bachelor’s, master’s and language courses. Also, students, graduate students and researchers are doing long and short-term internships in foreign countries.
