Promoting public pledges toward 100% renewable energy

Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies actively promotes a commitment to 100% renewable energy beyond the university itself. TSUOS organizes and participates in various public initiatives aimed at raising awareness of sustainable energy practices. For instance, Dinora Sodiqova, a lecturer in the Western Languages Department at TSUOS, conducted a webinar on “SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy” within the framework of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The webinar was attended by first-year students from the Faculty of Economics, Politics, and Tourism of Eastern Countries (pictures).

Additionally, Jahongir Ilyosov, a student from the Chinese Studies Faculty, actively participated in a B2B seminar on “Green Innovations for the Global Market (German Experience)” held as part of INNOWEEK-2023, the International Innovation Ideas Week.

In addition, our university’s social media channels frequently share information about renewable energy benefits, and our faculty and students participate in public campaigns that advocate for increased use of renewable sources. Through these efforts, TSUOS contributes to a broader dialogue on sustainability, aiming to inspire a wider shift toward renewable energy in our community and beyond.
