Staff support
At Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, a number of measures are systematically implemented to provide comprehensive support to university staff.
The following were carried out within the “Payment of labor: Guaranteed payments and compensation payments” of the “Collective agreement”:
- In accordance with clause 61, payment of salaries in accordance with the procedure established by the laws and legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- Terms of payment of salaries in accordance with clause 62:
For the first half of the month – until the 18th of the month;
For the second half of the month – pay by the 5th of the following month.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in clause 9 of the “Collective agreement” entitled “Social insurance: Social benefits and guarantees”, the “Employer” has been fulfilling the following obligations regarding benefits and guarantees:
- Providing financial and moral support to trade union members at the expense of extra-budgetary and saved funds;
- Paying more attention to providing financial support to needy members of the labor team, retired veterans and disabled people at the expense of extra-budgetary funds;
- Financial incentives based on the recommendations of the faculty, department, and division heads in monitoring staff and senior teachers who have been working effectively at the university for a long time;
- Allocating financial support for the weddings of teachers, staff or their children based on seniority at the university;
- Allocating financial support for staff (himself or their parents, spouse, children) to hold funerals after their death, depending on the financial state of the university.
