Green energy at TSUOS
Decree №57 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 16, 2023, entitled “On measures to accelerate the introduction of renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies in 2023” and the program of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation №04-20-3 dated February 22, 2023, on the installation of energy-saving technology, solar panels, is being carried out consistently.
150 kW solar panels were installed on the campus of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. 10 kW solar panels were installed in the student accommodation.
Now, with the help of solar panels installed on the campus of TSUOS, it is possible to provide uninterrupted electricity. This will serve as an example for other HEIs in reducing the amount of carbon emission released into nature and introducing green energy at the country level.
