You Are the Sun of the East, Woman!
On March 6, 2025, a cultural and educational event titled “You Are the Sun of the East, Woman!” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies to celebrate International Women’s Day.
This festive event, dedicated to showcasing the beauty, spirituality, and intellectual potential of Eastern women, gathered the university administration, faculty members, and students.
Additionally, the event featured performances by Turgun Beknazarov, an actor from the Muqimi Uzbek State Musical Drama Theater, as well as pop singers Abdulla Kurbonov and Aziz Azizov. University ensembles “Dutorchilar” and “Sanduvoch”, along with the groups “Yurtim Qadriyatlari” and “Sharq Yulduzi”, performed traditional melodies and songs.
