TSUOS delegation met with the leadership of Baku State University
On December 16, a delegation of TSUOS headed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs A. Vakhidov met with the leadership of Baku State University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies and heads of departments. At the meeting, A. Vakhidov gave full information about the structure of TSUOS, Sh. Shamusorov, S. Nazarova, Kh. Kazakbaev spoke about the activities of their departments. During the conversation, issues of opening joint training programs, and joint cooperation in scientific and educational fields were discussed. Following the meeting, the parties decided to develop a roadmap. On the same day, Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Philology K.A. Dana and doctoral student of the Department of History, Culture, Politics and Economics of China A.U. Nigmanov read two-hour open lectures for students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies on the topics “The influence of the Usin philosophy on the etymology and semantics of certain groups of words in the Chinese language” and “China’s energy policy in Central Asia.”
