An event dedicated to the 154th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi was held at TSUS on the theme “MAHATMA GANDHI – AMBASSADOR OF PEACE”
On October 5, 2023, an event dedicated to the 154th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi was held under the theme “MAHATMA GANDHI – AMBASSADOR OF PEACE” in collaboration with the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, the Center for Public Diplomacy of the SCO in Uzbekistan, and the Tagore International School of India.
The event was opened by the rector of TSUOS – G.Rikhsiyeva. The guests who attended the roundtable discussion were K. Sobirov – Director of the Public Diplomacy Center of the SCO in Uzbekistan, Manish Prabhat – the Ambassador of India in Uzbekistan spoke to the participants about the personality of Mahatma Gandhi and his place in the history of humanity. They gave a speech.
An online program was introduced from Tagore International School of India.
At the end of the event, the winners of the Hindi essay competition on theme “Tolerance to Peace” and the online quiz were awarded.
