The performance “PADARKUSH (or the fate of an uneducated child)” by Mahmudhodja Behbudi at TSUOS
Mahmudhoja Behbudi, one of the founders of Jadid literature, wrote the first national dramatic work among writers of Central Asia. Prior to that, not a single work in the genre of drama was created in this territory, either in Turkic or in Persian, which was a huge contribution of Behbudi to literature.
In addition, Behbudi created samples of prose for his compatriots, easy understanding, both in language and form, corresponding to new conditions and atmosphere. It was a big event for the Behbudi era.
Today, on January 21, the performance “Padarkush” and a meeting with artists of the State Satire Theater of Uzbekistan took place at TSUOS.
