A promotional event on the topic “Referendum and youth” was held at TSUOS
On April 7, 2023, a promotional event on the topic “Referendum and youth” was held at TSUOS on the initiative of students and professors. Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, rector of TSUOS, opened the event with her introductory speech, talking about the essence and significance of the main amendments to the newly revised Constitution. The event was also attended by people’s writer of Uzbekistan Muhammad Ali, People’s artist of Uzbekistan Tesha Mouminov, dean of the Faculty of Turkish Studies Associate Professor Jumali Shabanov, University talented student Komiljon Suyarov, winner of multi-time Uzbek and international competitions in Taekwondo Lyudmila Popova, speaking as speaker, told the meeting participants about the main amendments to the Constitution. As well as they urged students to be active in this political process. The event was held in a happy and upbeat mood, poems dedicated to the National Anthem were performed by the students of TSUOS, as well as songs performed by Akbar Atamuhammedov, winner of the Order of “Do’stlik” and the “Sanduvoch” ensemble of TSUOS.
