A spiritual and educational event titled “Women Deserve Respect and Attention!” was held at TSUOS

On December 2, 2024, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) hosted a spiritual and educational event titled “Women Deserve Respect and Attention!”.
The event was attended by the Head of the Women’s Issues Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Umida Abdullayeva; a leading IT specialist and innovator in the fintech sector, Umida Ziyamova; representatives from GIZ; and deputies of the Mirobod District Council, Avaz Karimov and Gulbahor Kulmatova.
During the event, the presentation of the “Orientalist Women Leaders Club” took place, and the winners of three competitions dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women were awarded commemorative gifts (smartwatches) by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and GIZ.
