The directions of cooperation between TSUOS and Cairo University were defined
The delegation led by Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva held talks with First Deputy Rector of Cairo University Muhammad al-Attar. During the dialogue, information was provided about the reforms implemented in the field of higher education in Uzbekistan, the new system of personnel training. The first vice chancellor of Cairo University expressed his interest in cooperation with higher education institutions in the country of Imam Bukhari, Ibn Sina, Zamakhshari, Khorezmi and many other great figures. At the meeting, attention was paid to providing literature for teaching the Uzbek language at Cairo University, cooperation between students and teachers. At the end of the negotiations, it was agreed to prepare and sign a draft document covering the areas of cooperation that are beneficial for the parties. Cairo University was the first European-style university in Egypt, founded in 1908. There are 25 faculties, 2 scientific centers and 1 institute in the structure of the institution of higher education. More than 270,000 local and foreign students are taught by more than 14,000 teachers.
