The 7th meeting of the University Council was conducted on March 1, 2025.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of decisions and resolutions of the President and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the orders and resolutions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Innovation and the ministry’s board.
In line with the tradition of the Academic Council, faculty members and staff were congratulated on their anniversaries and the attainment of academic titles. Certificates and diplomas were awarded to the recipients of named state scholarships.
During the session, a lecture was delivered on the topic “Pressing Issues in Educating Oriental Studies Students in the Spirit of Patriotism.” Additionally, information was provided on the credit-modular system and the results of the exams conducted for admission to independent research in the second quarter.
As part of the implementation of the instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from March 29, 2024, No. 20/1-867, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of April 8, 2024, TSUOS representatives presented a report on their visits to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, as well as discussed planned internal projects at the university.
