About the Department of International Cooperation of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies
The main activity of the department of international cooperation is the establishment and development of cooperation ties between the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and higher educational institutions, educational centers, research institutes, government funds that support the development of higher education in foreign countries. TSUOS effectively cooperates with foreign higher education institutions in the exchange of experience of professors and teachers, exchange of students, holding scientific conferences, seminars and forums and in other areas that contribute to the development of international education. Close cooperative relations have been established with embassies of foreign countries operating in our country, public organizations and friendship societies in the fields of education, science and culture. As a good example, we can cite the UN Office in Uzbekistan, KOICA of the Republic of Korea, JICE of Japan, JISA, Egyptian Cultural Center, Indian Cultural Center named after Lal Bahadur Shastri, TIKA Turkey and other organizations. In order to promote the study of oriental languages, literature, history and culture, as well as improve the quality of education and increase scientific potential, several centers were created at our university, accompanied by the department of international relations:

Every year, qualified professors and teachers from countries such as Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Pakistan are invited to teach the national language at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Pakistan. Literature and economics are taught at the Academic Lyceum and the Confucius Institute at TSUOS. At the same time, citizens of countries such as Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Russia, Egypt, and Azerbaijan study at the bachelor and master degrees.
Many professors and teachers of TSUOS take an active part in international conferences, symposiums and seminars devoted to the problems of linguistics, oriental studies, international economic and political relations, history, regional studies, held annually in Asia, Europe and other countries of the region. participated. Uzbek promotes the achievements and successes of Oriental studies and shares his experience.
At the same time, TSUOS students studying at the university with high grades, actively participating in public life, and having exemplary behavior, undergo long-term and short-term internships in higher educational institutions abroad on the basis of intergovernmental and interuniversity internships. cooperation agreements. In 2023, more than 100 professors, doctoral students and students of TSUOS will go on short and long trips to prestigious universities and educational centers of the Sultanate of Brunei, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, and Turkey.
