Duties of the Center
- Performs tasks defined in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the National Personnel Training Program.
- Supports the scientific and methodological teaching of foreign languages.
- Improves the process of teaching foreign languages based on advanced scientific achievements.
- Provides foreign language teachers with regulatory and legal documents.
- Publicizes the advanced achievements of departments in the educational process.
- Increases the qualifications of foreign language teachers.
- Creates a complex of electronic resources (electronic portfolio) that includes teaching-methodological, scientific-research, and creative work materials aimed at evaluating the professional activities of foreign language teachers and develops evaluation parameters.
- Constantly improves regulatory and legal documents.
- Recommends the development of a prospective plan for the scientific-methodological center for teaching foreign languages and its review by the University Scientific Council.
- Organizes professional development courses, training sessions, seminars, master classes, and conferences for foreign language teachers.
- Develops programs and courses aimed at enhancing scientific and methodological knowledge. (joint programs)
- Develops and implements new methodological methods, strategies, and technologies.
- Develops and implements tests, special instruments, and assessment systems to evaluate the knowledge and skills of foreign language teachers and language learners.
- Educational literature, monographs, and brochures created by foreign language teachers are analyzed by special experts.
