Implementation of the subject “Green Economy”
At Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, during the 2023/2024 academic year to the educational fields of 60411800 – “Economy of foreign countries and country studies (by countries and regions)” and 60411900 – “World economy and international economic relations (by regions and types of activity)”, the “Green Economy” subject was included in the list of elective subjects in the curricula.
Also, output tasks are in progress by studying the programs and educational literature of the partner higher education institutions in Korea, Japan, China, Iran, and India on the “green economy” and the “green growth” policy by the departments of the university specializing in economic education.
The departments “Economy of Eastern Countries” and “Foreign Economic Activity and Tourism” of TSUOS are developing the syllabus and forming the themes of this subject.
“Economics of the countries of the studied region” taught in the “Economy of foreign countries and country studies” bachelor’s education program of the university and “Features of geo-economics and national development” taught in the master’s degree “Foreign economic activity” specialty “Introduction of “green economy” and “green growth” policy topics;
In the 2023/2024 academic year, the tasks of introducing topics related to the foreign experience of forming “Green economy” into the graduation-qualification work of bachelor’s graduates were determined.
