Participation of the rector of TSUOS in the 1st symposium of rectors of universities of the ECO member countries
The Allameh Tabataba’i University of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the headquarters of the Institute of Culture of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), located in Tehran, are currently hosting the 1st Symposium of the Rectors of the Universities of the ECO Member Countries.
The symposium is being held online, it is attended by the heads of 20 leading universities of the ECO member countries: Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.
The leadership of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies has been invited from Uzbekistan to take part in the event. In particular, Rector of TSUOS Gulchehra Rkhsieva is expected to deliver a speech at the symposium, provide information about the activities of the university and make a number of proposals to strengthen the scientific integration of scientists and universities in the OIC region.
