China – Central Asia and Asia-Pacific Region: Development and Cooperation
According to the letter of the organizing committee of Lanzhou University, China, and the forum “China-Central Asia and Asia-Pacific Region: Development and Cooperation” dated July 18, 2023, and the order of the rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies dated September 4, 2023, Ph.D. and associate professor of the Department of “Chinese philology” F.M.Khasanova participated in the conference held in Dongguan on September 4-9, 2023. The conference, entitled “China-Central Asia and Asia-Pacific Region: Development and Cooperation”, and organized within the framework of the “6th International Cultural Forum of Silk Road (Dongguan)”, was mainly devoted to the issues of scientific and cultural cooperation between China and the Central Asian states and the states of the Asia-Pacific region, in which the results achieved in the framework of cooperation till that day and future plans were comprehensively covered and analyzed.
In addition to articles by organizations from different countries of the world, an article by the rector of Tashkent state university of oriental studies Prof. G.Sh.Rikhsieva entitled “Uzbekistan and China Cooperation in Higher Education and Scientific Field” was listened. It was listened in Russian and translated synchronously into 8 languages. Through this lecture, information on Tashkent state university of oriental studies, Uzbekistan, was given, including its activities, cooperation, Educational Directions and specialties, and plans.
On September 7, 2023, Ph.D. associate professor F.M.Khasanova lectured under the title “Uzbekistan-China: a common perspective in cultural relations and education”. Besides, information about the international conference titled “Current Issues of Chinese Studies” held annually by TSUOS’s Department of Chinese Philology in cooperation with the Confucius Institute, was also given and invited to participate.
