Scientific and theoretical seminars of Emek Ushenmez
On February 15 and March 3, 2023, in the “Literary Studies Month” series organized by the Department of Oriental Literature and Comparative Literary Studies of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and a number of partner universities of Türkiye, Emek Ushenmez, Associate Professor and Doctor of Philology at Istanbul University, delivered open lectures entitled “Views on the miniatures of Alisher Navoi’s works in the British Library” and “Oybek’s work during the Second World War”. During the lectures, scientist Emek Ushenmez gave information about Alisher Navoi’s rare manuscripts stored in world libraries, their reviews, and the works of Oybek, a famous representative of modern Uzbek literature. He also shared the results of his research related to the works of Oybek and the ongoing research on Navoi studies in Türkiye.
