The Persian Gulf region in the vision of young analysts
On December 11, 2021, at the initiative of the intellectual club “Oriental Analysts” the panel discussion named “Central Asia and the Gulf region: new opportunities, problems and prospects” was held in TSUOS.
During the panel discussion, members of the club gave interesting presentations on the geopolitical significance of the Gulf region, the content of interregional transport corridors and Uzbekistan’s initiatives to interconnect Central Asia and the Gulf region countries, issues of comprehensive cooperation and existing problems.
What is more, the views and comments expressed by the speakers were scientifically analyzed by experts in the field, and relevant recommendations were given to every student lecturer and conclusions were made.
It should be noted, that the study of this issue interpreted by students not only increases their scientific potential, but also demands an accurate assessment of political realities and objective observation of problems.
At the end of the discussion, it was concerted to publish articles on the issues discussed in a special bulletin of the Research Center for the Development of Eastern Countries.
