Books were presented to the Faculty of Korean Studies
A book can often be the perfect gift for people. On the course of present day the matter of regular enrichment of higher education institutions with a field related literature is of great importance in education. In this regard, the Faculty of Korean Studies has been implementing various projects and activities in cooperation with a number of international organizations and foreign institutions. On February 3, 2020, the Faculty of Korean Studies of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies received $ 1,500 worth literature from the Institute of Asian Culture and Development and YOUNGPOONG Publishing House. The director of the Tashkent branch of the Institute of Asian Culture and Development Kim Pyong-gil, the rector of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies Gulchekhra Rixsieva, the dean of the Department of Korean Studies Shoira Usmanova and students of the faculty participated in the presentation of the books. During the event, the guests shared their views with students on the role and importance of literature in education. We hope that these textbooks will serve as an important source and support for students’ future research in the field of Korean studies.
