An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey was held at TSUOS
At the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, a round table on the topic “today and next of Uzbek-Turkish relations” was organized and a professor of the Department “Translatology and international journalism” Khairulla Hamidov presented a book titled “Özbek Edebiyatindan Seçme Eserler: Hikâyeler-Şiirler (Antoloji)“ to mark the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, the 105th anniversary of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the TURKSOY international Turkic culture organization. The roundtable discussion was opened by the rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, professor Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva. Olgan Bekar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Uzbekistan, spoke at the roundtable discussion. In addition, at the spiritual and educational event, the vice-rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, doctor of philology, professor Qudratulla Omonov’s lecture on “Language, writing and surname reforms implemented in the Republic of Turkey” and associate professor of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, candidate of political sciences Ulug’bek Muhammadiyev’s lectures on “Uzbekistan-Turkey relations development” were heard.
