An event dedicated to the “Day of Defenders of the Fatherland” was held at the Temurids State Museum
On January 14, 2019 at the State Museum of the Temurids was a big event dedicated to the “Day of Defenders of the Fatherland” with the participation of students of the Department of Translation of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and representatives of the Temurbek School.
The first speaker at the event was Professor Abdumajid Madraimov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, who spoke about patriotism and attention that was paid to the military during the era of Timurids. Then Tolkin Khaitov, the chairman of the Amir Temur Foundation, made a report about the attention which was paid to women and women’s passion for art during the Temurids period. The lectures were followed by a tour of the museum, which provided interesting information about the history of the Timurids.
