Opening ceremony of the new student residence at TSUOS
On September 10, 2024, a grand opening ceremony was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies for the new student dormitory built on the basis of public-private partnership.
The event was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov, as well as Deputy Minister Sarvarxon Buzrukxonov.
The student dormitory, located at 33 Ziyolilar Street, Mirzo Ulugbek District, Tashkent City, consists of 6 floors and 112 residential rooms accommodating 400 students. It was built by the private entrepreneur ‘The New Grand House’ LLC under the terms of public-private partnership and meets modern requirements. The total cost of the construction exceeds more than 24 billion soums
