The meeting of the women’s council chairperson and leader girls of TSUOS
On November 22, 2022, within the framework of the 5th direction of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN – “Gender Equality”, Sh.Zaynutdinova – Head of the Women’s Council of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, had an open dialogue with the leading students of Faculty of Oriental Philology and Translation Studies of TSUOS.
During the interview, the concept of “Gender equality” and information about it were given to female students. At the same time, from the point of view of introducing gender equality were highlighted ensuring gender equality in Uzbekistan in recent years, that work is being done to increase the role of women in social and political life, including legislation on women’s rights, protect women, ensuring gender equality and women’s rights of the population, in particular, protecting women from violence and oppression, strengthening the status of women’s entrepreneurship development, and positive changes in education.
At the end of the event, opinions were exchanged on the demands and proposals of the girls, and the necessary questions were answered.
