DEPARTMENT OF “HISTORY, CULTURE, POLITICS AND ECONOMY OF JAPAN”

The department was created as part of the Faculty of Japanese Studies on the basis of the order of the rector of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies No. 01-863 dated November 1, 2019. The department is aimed at training qualified specialists in the history, politics and economy of Japan. The educational areas assigned to the department include the domestic and foreign policy of Japan, its role in international and regional relations, its participation in world political processes, the economy and financial system of Japan at the present stage, the country’s innovation policy, modernization processes in Japan, models of economic development countries, as well as the history of Japan, the historical stages of socio-economic development, the history of Japanese political doctrines are studied.

Currently, the number of faculty members at the department is 8 permanent units, including: 2 candidates of sciences, 6 teachers.

The scientific potential of the department is 30%.
