My name is Bekbashev Bikezhan
My name is Bekbashev Bikezhan, I am a citizen of the Russian Federation. I am in my 3rd year at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies.
Currently, there is an epidemic of the coronavirus COVID – 19 around the world.
Today, about two million people worldwide are infected with this virus, and as a result, quarantine has been introduced in many countries.
The authorities of Uzbekistan have introduced timely measures to contain the pandemic, the effectiveness of which is beyond doubt. Thanks to these precautions, large-scale infections were avoided, such as in China, Italy and the USA.
During the quarantine, study became remote, but it didn’t affect the level of classes and providing training material. Education goes on schedule; everything is the same as before quarantine, except that students are not at the institute, but at home while studying.
I would like to separately note the work of the Department for International Cooperation of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, which care about foreign students, bring important news, information to them, and advise them on various issues.
While on the territory of Uzbekistan, I observe all measures of the quarantine regime, realizing that all these measures have been taken to preserve the health and life of citizens and guests of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
